Welcome to the Gold Wing Road Riders Association’s Kentucky district web page. The purpose of this page is to keep you informed of recent happenings within our state. Find out about Chapter meetings in your area, rallies and other district and chapter events. We hope you find this page informative and helpful. Our goal is to make the Kentucky district of GWRRA the best it can be and to uphold the motto of GWRRA.

 2018 KY Blast District Convention

The Kentucky District is proud to announce that  Kayla Woodson will be performing at the Blast on Friday night. Originally from Waggaman, LA, Kayla has been singing and performing for 19 years. With musical roots in country, rock, and soul, Kayla's influences range from Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder to Journey and Guns ‘N Roses, and country stars like Dolly Parton and Carrie Underwood. Combining her impressive vocal ability with her surprisingly powerful and sassy stage presence, Kayla is making her mark in country music. She has recently been seen on Season 14 of NBC's The Voice and her newest single "Unfixable" is now on iTunes and Spotify. If you have been wanting to get some pinstriping or other artwork done on your bike, come to the Blast and let Mike "Mountainman" Lamborne create your very own masterpiece.

Chapter A will be celebrating their 35th Anniversary on 6/23/18.  The celebration starts at 11:00 AM and will be held at 9814 Seatonville Road, Louisville, Ky 40291.  Lunch will be served at 12:00 PM.  They plan to have a ride, games, fun and good fellowship.

Chapter C will be celebrating their 35th Anniversary on 9/22/18 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  The celebration will be held in the pavilion at the Falling Springs Center in Versailles.  Lunch will be served at 12:00 PM.  Music by Puncheon Creek will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
All members, past and present are welcome!

Kentucky Traveling Plaque

Chapter H has the Traveling Plaque.  It will be available at their next meeting on 7/6/2018.  They meet at the UK Extension Shelby County Office, 1117 Frankfort Road, Shelbyville, Kentucky.  They socialize at 6:30PM and meet at 7:00PM.
 
The winning chapter of the plaque MUST contact the District Webmaster within 24 hours after capturing the plaque and provide the place and time the plaque will be available.

The chapter who awarded the plaque must 
provide a list of the chapters that were in attendance to capture the plaque so they can be awarded points.  Please mail the information to:

The 2018 Couple of the Year Mascot was introduced by Jennie and Steve at the 2018 OPS Meeting
