Notice:Please Read the rules for the Traveling Plaque
The Traveling Plaque has been put in place
to promote visitation between chapters. This year’s plaque began at the 2010 Ky District Rally. A chapter’s
name will be pulled from a basket to see where the plaque will start. A member from the chapter must be present at the rally
to be awarded the plaque. If no one is present, then another name will be drawn. The winning chapter will announce the date
when the plaque will be available to be captured.
1.
Must have a minimum of 3 current members attend a chapter event to be eligible. Family membership counts.
2. Each chapter attending must sign in and show membership
card.
3. Attending District Staff will only represent their HOME chapter. A member can only represent
their current chapter designation
4. In the event that more than one chapter attends, each chapter attending will be given 1 ticket per
chapter (not per member).
5. At the
end of the meeting or event, a ticket will be drawn to determine the winning chapter of the plaque.
6. The plaque must be available to be captured at the next Chapter Meeting
or Fun Day of the winning chapter and will be posted on the District web site.(Most Chapters have a Christmas party
in December and the Plaque will not be available at that time)
7. The winning chapter of the plaque MUST contact the District Webmaster within 24 hours after capturing the plaque of the place and time the plaque will be available.
8. The chapter who awarded the plaque must contact the District Director and Dan Bondurant of what chapters were in attendance to capture the plaque so they can be awarded points.
9. Each chapter attending the Meeting or Fun Day to capture the plaque will
be awarded 1 point. The chapter who captures the plaque will be awarded an additional point (total of 2 points).
10. The plaque itself will be awarded at the 2012
KY District Rally to the chapter who has accumulated the most points. A member from the chapter must be present at the rally
to be awarded the plaque. If no one is present, then the plaque will go to the next chapter with the next highest points.
11. In the event there is a tie in points, those
chapters involved in the tie, will be given a ticket at the rally and a winner will be drawn. Again, a member from the chapter
must be present to win.
12. In addition
to receiving the plaque, the winning chapter will receive $100.00
13. The KY District Director has the FINAL decision concerning eligibility.
